Siveco China, the country's largest maintenance consultancy, has been influential in its home market for many years already, thanks to a growing customer base, an active participation in industry events and the monthly "Maintenance in China" online newsletter. Siveco also runs an annual survey of maintenance practices in the Chinese market, by far the largest of its kind with close to 1,600 respondents.
In the past few months, the company has also started to gain recognition in the U.S. market, where it has yet to establish direct presence. Prominent maintenance blog Facilities Maintenance Management (
facilities-maintenance-management.com) recently ran a series of articles on facilities maintenance best practices in China, based on Siveco's experience:
Part 1 – Maintenance Means Industrial Excellence in China
Part 2 – Building a Better Industrial Infrastructure in China
This unexpected coverage of Siveco China in U.S. media shows growing interest in the specific industrial issues investors face in China (robotization, economic slowdown, skills shortages, rising labor costs, etc.). It also demonstrates the increasing influence of Siveco outside of the Chinese border.
