The Siveco team participated in the 5th Annual Process Industry Engineering & Maintenance Congress that took place in Shanghai on September 14-15.

 

General Manager Bruno Lhopiteau presented a paper on the subject of "Leveraging technological tools to deliver sustainable maintenance improvement in China" and also presented the lucky-draw on the second day of the event.

 

The presentation, sharing original insights from his 12-year experience running maintenance improvement projects in this country, focused on how to obtain tangible results from a SAP implementation from a maintenance or engineering point of view, how to audit and optimize existing CMMS, how to realize measurable ROI from the introduction of such tools, all in the specific context of China.

 

The speech was entirely based on real-life case studies, highlighting the importance of the HMI in such projects, with a specific focus on mobile solutions as an ideal tool to drive maintenance improvement project in Chinese process plants. Siveco's revolutionary mobile solutions bluebee® and Mtv, capable to run with any back-office CMMS (SAP, Maximo, Datastream, COSWIN etc.), were also showcased at a booth during the event.
