On June 5-7, a Siveco team headed by the company's General Manager Bruno Lhopiteau will visit Hohhot, capital of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. The team will visit several customers and join a conference "City of the Future" organized by the French Government in cooperation with China's Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM), which the French Ambassador will also attend.
According to Bruno Lhopiteau: "Two years ago, our company launched its Go West initiative, with great success in Sichuan province. We are now trying to extend this initiative to the Northern provinces of China, where we already have a significant customer base. We have simply decided to spend more time on the ground, talking to customers, business partners and related government agencies. We are primarily targeting infrastructure and energy projects, as well as industrial plants. Looking forward to meet you in Hohhot!"
Siveco customers in Inner Mongolia include Carrefour and a team working with a local partner on a wind farm project. Customers in the other provinces of North China include DACC (Shanxi), Fushun Mining Group (Liaoning), Hanas New Energy (Ningxia) and a total of 66 Carrefour hypermarkets.
