Leading Sino-American joint venture selects COSWIN for its Datong plant

Datong ABC Castings Co. Ltd (DACC), a joint venture between Datong Electric Locomotive Co. Ltd and ABC Railway Products Corporation of the United States, selected COSWIN Maintenance Management System to manage its manufacturing facilities located in Datong, Shanxi province.

 
The largest JV under China North Locomotive and Rolling Stock Group (CNR), DACC was setup in 1996 to manufature cast steel wheels. The 45,126 sqm plant owns over 3,000 machines and has a production capacity of 250,000 wheels per year. DACC has been certified by the AAR (Association of American Railway) and has also obtained ISO 9001 and 14000 certifications.
