Chongqing Sino French Tangjiatuo Wastewater Treatment Company has selected Siveco to implements its computerized maintenance management system (CMMS). The project has already started. Established in 2007, the company provides municipal sewage treatment services to over 1 million residents in the Northern part of urban Chongqing, an area of around 100 km2 on the northern bank of the Jialing and Yangtze rivers. Sewage treatment is a key factor in environmental conservation, which produces sludge as a by-product: in order to meet the Chinese government's environmental protection and energy reduction targets, Sino French Tangjiatuo Wastewater Treatment Company has built Chongqing's first sludge drying unit in 2009. After treatment, dry sludge can be used as an alternative fuel, instead of coal. The total capacity of the plant is over 400,000 m3/d.
Over the last ten years, Siveco China has developed a strong expertise in the water industry, with customer sites all over the country. In the city of Chongqing, Siveco already works with full water service company Sino French Chongqing Water and technical services provider Cofely Gient Energy Management Services. The Western China region is a priority for Siveco China, which has opened its Chengdu office in 2012 and works with major clients such as Lutianhua Chemicals, Baida Air, Sichuan Tianyu, Saint Gobain Proppants, Guizhou Yindu Specialty Aluminates, Carrefour, etc.
