Siveco helps Axus Stationary set up a centralized maintenance system

2009-11-20

Axus Stationary, a leading OEM manufacturer of pencils, has selected Siveco to implement its COSWIN Maintenance Management System. The objective of the project is to establish strong maintenance fundamentals across its six factories in Asia. Faced with a rapid expansion of its production capacity and manufacturing constraints such as frequent change of tools, Axus has identified maintenance improvement as a key to their long-term success. The pilot project has started in the main Axus plant located in Shanghai Qingpu district, where a "Core Model" defining best maintenance practices is currently being defined with Siveco maintenance experts. After successful implementation in Qingpu, the Axus project team will then be able to deploy the "Core Model" to all the sites, using the centralized COSWIN system.
