Siveco held a workshop dedicated to "Maintenance Improvement in the Chinese Process Industry" at InterContinental Shanghai Pudong hotel on June 25, with an audience from the pulp & paper, pharmaceutical, food, building material and automotive industries. Present as key sponsor, engineering giant ABB also joined the event.

In the first session, Bruno Lhopiteau, General Manager of Siveco China, analyzed the typical situation of the Chinese process industry. This was followed by a presentation of Siveco's CMMS solution "COSWIN" by Sales Manager Shirley Xuan.

 

After a fruitful exchange during the coffee break, Mr. Hu Zhijie, Maintenance Manager of Kerneos Aluminate Technologies, shared his experience of how to achieve maintenance improvement in practice through the use of the CMMS. Live demonstrations of integration between ABB 800xA control system and COSWIN were also showcased.
