Siveco China to speak at Sustainable Factory seminar in Wuxi, June 10

2021-06-04
Siveco China's Managing Director Bruno Lhopiteau is invited to speak at the seminar and panel discussion organized by the German Chamber of Commerce and the Wuxi International Chamber of Commerce on June 10 on the topic of the "Sustainable Factory" in Wuxi, Jiangsu province.

During this event, a range of speakers from various green sustainability related sectors will share with you how companies can make their facilities more sustainable and reduce their environmental footprint. Additionally, these experts will look at how industrial plants can meet the environmental targets mandated by Jiangsu province, from various angles including that of maintenance.

Bruno Lhopiteau, Managing Director of Siveco China, will speak on the subject of "Maintenance 4.0 at the heart of the Sustainable Plant":

Green building certifications have expanded from design to operation, as buildings seldom perform as designed if not maintained well. Government investigations show that poor maintenance, improper technical decisions are the source of most environmental or safety accidents. Predictive Maintenance is often claimed to be the "low hanging fruit" of Industry 4.0, yet it is seldom implemented beyond a showcase. Toyota famously put Preventive Maintenance at the center of what later became World Class Manufacturing or Lean, yet in most plants, maintenance comes last. The improvement potential is enormous!

Other speakers will share experience of PV panels, environmental compliance, energy efficiency and low carbon best practices, industrial acoustics and local government policies.

The seminar will take place on Thursday, 10th June 2021, from 2:30 PM to 7:30 PM at Suntech Photovoltaic Headquarters in Wuxi New District. The event will be held in English. For more information and registration for this event, please click here.
