Siveco China to speak at the Asia Green Smart Pulp & Paper Mill Summit 2021 in Shanghai, December 1

Siveco China's Managing Director Bruno Lhopiteau is invited to deliver a speech at the Asia Green Smart Pulp & Paper Mill Summit 2021 taking place in Shanghai on November 30 and December 1. In his presentation "An ISO 55000-driven approach to effective maintenance digitalization: lessons from 20 years on the ground", Bruno will explore the relationship between Maintenance, Asset Management & Industrial Risk Management in the current Chinese context. He will use real-life case studies to illustrate the common pitfalls of digitalization projects and to offer practical guidelines.

On March 12, 2021, the "Outline of the Fourteenth Five-Year Plan for National Economic and Social Development of the People's Republic of China and Long-Term Goals for 2035" was announced. The third section of Chapter 8 in the target outline clearly states: to promote the optimization and upgrading of manufacturing, expand the supply of high-quality products such as light industry, accelerate the transformation and upgrading of enterprises in key industries such as papermaking, and improve the green manufacturing system.

Speaker's biography
 
Bruno Lhopiteau is a 20+ years veteran of the Chinese maintenance market. His first China assignment was 1998 as project manager for the implementation of a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) at Stora Enso Suzhou Paper. In 1999 he relocated to China full-time and has lived here ever since with his family. Bruno is a permanent residence ("green card") holder since 2006.
 
Bruno Lhopiteau is the Managing Director of Siveco China (www.sivecochina.com), a company he founded in 2004. Prior and sometimes concurrently to his responsibilities in Siveco China, Bruno has held board-level or management-level positions in China with Ides AB (engineering software), Arcadia Consulting (asset management consulting), IFS (enterprise software), IFS-Yonyou (enterprise software), Sunman Tech (condition monitoring), in Singapore with IFS and with the French Embassy (Trade Mission), and in Sweden with SKF (bearings). His entire career has been centered around Maintenance and Asset Management.
 
Since 2010, Bruno Lhopiteau lectures on Industrial Risk Management in the Industrial MSc program of the Sino-European School of Technology of Shanghai University. Bruno also chairs the Industry of the Future Working Group at the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in China and is involved in similar activities in other chambers. He is a frequent speakers at industrial conferences on Industry Risk Management, Maintenance and digitalization topics.
 
Bruno Lhopiteau holds a MSc in Maintenance Engineering & Management from Polytech Nancy (France). He also studied the MSc Mechanical Engineering program at Chalmers University of Technology (Swedish). His MSc thesis on "Chaotic Motions in an Auto-balancing System" concerned vibration analysis in rotating machinery. Bruno is a French citizen.
