Siveco brings Smart Asset Life Cycle Management to the International Solid Waste Management Summit 2019 (Shanghai, June 12-14)

2019-06-05
On June 12-14, Siveco China's team of Asset Management experts will attend the International Solid Waste Management Summit 2019 in Shanghai, which will gather a large number of industry professionals from leading companies. This event is mainly focused on exploring the latest technologies for the Chinese waste industry and exchanging experience from real projects. Siveco China's Vice President Paul Wang will speak at the summit, sharing precious experience from applying Asset Management expertise and Smart O&M technologies in the waste management industry.

In his speech, Paul Wang will focus on how to establish the management principles and core competencies for operation and maintenance in a waste treatment plant, in the context of a rapidly expanding market, facing human resource constraints and tightening regulation.

Based on case studies of Siveco projects in China, Paul will address key questions such as:

  • Why and how to tackle those challenges from the construction phase of a project, in a true lifecycle approach?
  • How to apply internationally advanced concepts and industry's best practices to address these challenges?
  • How to use the latest information technologies to make these concepts a reality?
  • How to realize a solution at group level for deployment to multiple sites with varying levels of local skills?
  • How to ensure that "best practices" are successfully implemented all the way down to technical workers?

Siveco China has a long track record in the waste industry, with a rich experience providing Smart O&M solutions and Asset Management consulting services to support plant owners and operators to improve their assets lifecycle.
